Lone Cypress is an icon of the 17-mile Drive along the famed Pacific Coast past the reknowned Pebble Beach Golf Course. Joel and I took a break from playing the Peter Hay Course for lunch and some sight-seeing before returning for our second nine of the par 3 course. One can play all day on this charming little course. It's just our size.

Just months after we visited Pebble Beach, a storm on February 19, 2019 blew off the left side of the cypress, forever changing this icon of the area.
